AIM
Angeluss is a sport management company that aims to support and follow young, talented women in the world of two wheels.
Our goal is to make the top international categories more accessible to women, not only with a view to the role of rider but also all the different profiles that make up a team.
WHY MOTORCYCLING
Despite the recent exponential increase in the number of women working in the sector, as a sport motorcycling remains a decidedly male dominated environment.
In 73 years of world championship history, only 15 women have raced across the various categories and never in the reigning class, aside from a brief interlude in 1981 with Gina Boivard, a former American rider hailing from Boston in Massachusetts, now 71, who garnered a lot of attention. Boivard has in fact held a record for the last forty years, one that no one has been able to take from her, in that she is the only woman to have competed in the reigning class of the motorcycle world championship, whether the 500 as it was then or the current MotoGP.
We want to give young women who approach this sport and all women who aspire to a career in the motorcycle racing arena the same opportunities as their male colleagues.
WHAT WE DO FOR OUR ATHLETES
Angeluss strives to be a point of reference for the many talented females who want to transform their passion into a profession but who might not have the opportunity, the relevant training, or the resources to do so.
To achieve our goals, we work across three main areas:
1°
With the help of strategic partners, we create a dedicated pathway with specific targets, “allotting” opportunities to our athletes and those professional figures needed within the industry.
2°
With our Academy, we will support our athletes during the various phases of development, cultivating their potential and giving them the possibility to be involved in projects where they can best express themselves, building on their potential while also capturing the interest of potential sponsors,
3°
We work on the athletes’ image, providing them with support and guiding them as they manage relations with partners, sponsors, and the media.
CollaboraTIONS
Angeluss has already begun to collaborate with Moto3 MTA and MotoGP WithU RNF Yamaha teams, partnerships formed so that we can benefit from having high-level professionals on our side, figures who can help lay the foundations for our future and support us as we develop every single detail of a multi-stage pathway. This will allow us to immediately offer young women the opportunity to start working seriously in this sector. Thanks to these agreements, we are organising a series of projects in Moto3 as well as various off-track events with experienced sector professionalse.
OUR Vision
With the pathway we are putting in place, we at Angeluss strongly believe that it is possible to promote and support female professionalism, helping to break down certain barriers that women continue to come up against in many settings.
“Everyone presumes that a given thing is impossible to achieve, until an unknowing individual comes along and achieves it.”
